Location: Mumbai, India

Situation: Family requests immediate support due to terrorist attacks throughout the city

Response: In the early hours of November 26th 2008, Erimus Risk was contacted by a vacationing family who were trapped in their hotel room in Mumbai. A Pakistan Militant Organization orchestrated an attack on two exclusive hotels in addition to a number of other locations in the city. We immediately deployed a team of consultants to the region. Once on the ground, the Erimus Risk team secured the family and belongings, liaised with hotel, transportation and aviation representatives. Our Operations Planning Team in London remained in touch with the family, while working with our team on the ground to coordinate a contingency plan to extract the family safely out of  India.

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Situation: Private Organization requires physical escort during trekking trip

Response: We were contacted by a European based group who were making a trip to various locations in Nepal with plans to trek through the Sagarmatha National Park. With a good planning time frame given, we worked with the group leaders and together we planned routes, vehicles, support staff and equipment to ensure they had everything they needed before the arrived. One of our consutants,  a former mountain specialist and member of Special Forces, accompanied the group throughout every leg of the trek and ensured all medical equipment was carried and in working order. To support him and assist with routes, local intelligence and language issues, we sourced a local to accompany our consultant which complemented a safe and incident free trip for the group.
